Thank you for your interest in our summer feeding program. The MUST Summer Lunch Program is grounded in an awareness that many school-aged children who receive free or reduced-priced lunch during the school year often go without a nutritious lunch during the summer months. Through the generous support of volunteers and donors, MUST Summer Lunch delivers food to children in their neighborhoods Monday-Friday throughout the summer. Last year MUST served 260,000 lunches to over 7,600 children in six counties.
After much discussion with the state and county health officials, MUST Ministries has been informed that we can no longer accept sandwiches that are made outside of certified kitchens for the Summer Lunch Program.
Hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-11am. These are what each position entails:
LEAD VOLUNTEER: Lead Volunteers are needed to oversee the daily routine. Under the guidance of MUST Ministries, you will ensure the day to day activities of the MUST Summer Lunch Program at the Host Site. Arrival time is 9:00am. CHECKER & PACKER: The Checker/Packer ensures the accuracy and freshness of the lunches that will be handed out each day. Teamwork makes the dream work! Checker/Packers are needed 9-11 am, Monday-Friday.

DRIVER & RIDERS: The Driver/Rider delivers lunches Monday-Friday to children right in your neighborhood and make a huge impact! Drivers 18 years and older must use their own car and be able to deliver lunches 10:30 am-12:30 pm.
Driver and Rider volunteers must submit a request for a background check. Please click this link to initiate that check.
Whole lunches are needed daily and provided in many different ways.
Make a Contribution
Donations to the Summer Lunch Program can be made on Sunday mornings in the offering and should be specified as “Summer Lunch” on the offering envelopes or online HERE by choosing the “Must-SummerLunch” option on the drop-down menu.
