Back to School Giveaway Outreach 2026

Our annual Back 2 School Giveaway is happening on July 19th 2026! And we are planning to serve 500 kids this year! This is going to take a TON of volunteers to make the event run as smoothly and pleasant as possible for the families we are serving! There are several volunteer areas available.
You can also register kids in kindergarten to 12th grade for free clothes, backpacks, shoes and more, here on June 2nd. Another registration button will go live on that date.

We are also in need of pre-event volunteers to help host our “Shop for a Kid” Sundays in the lobby between services in June.
Back to School Outreach: Shop 4 A Kid!
This year, we’re dreaming BIGGER and BOLDER than ever before! We’re calling on our amazing New Life family to rise to the challenge and help us bless all 500 kids in our Back to School Giveaway through our Shop 4 A Kid program! This gives you the opportunity to choose one or multiple kids to sponsor.
Important Dates:
- May 31 – Card Pickup Only
- June 7 – Card Pickup + Clothing Drop-Off
- June 14 – Card Pickup + Clothing Drop-Off
- June 21 – Clothing Drop-Off Only
- June 28 – Final clothing drop-off day
The “Back to School Giveaway” outreach event itself runs from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday July 18th but volunteers we will need to be here 1 hour before and one hour after the event to help set up and tear down. Please plan to help with this as the more hands we have, the quicker and easier it is to tear down.
BOTTLED WATER, BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND A T-SHIRT ARE PROVIDED
